Greetings from Amity!
This was a good week. We had Zone Conference to start our week off and that is always wonderful. Hours of spiritual experiences :D We learned about the enabling power of the Atonement. How it isn't just to cleanse us of our sins but it is also a means by which we can become the person that our Heavenly Father created us to be. It gives us the strength to change. I LOVE THAT!! We also learned about the importance of the Book of Mormon. We were given some challenges to incorporate it better into our contacting and teaching. I really love the Book of Mormon. I know without a doubt that it is the word of God, that Joseph Smith really did translate it through the power of God, and that it is the convincing evidence of Jesus Christ's gospel restored to the earth.
On Wednesday I got to hold puppies :D They breed Golden Retrievers so they took us to the barn and showed us their puppies!
We had some awesome lessons with people this week. We were able to set up appointments with a lot of people who haven't been taught in a long time so that was exciting.
I got to go on exchanges!!! I love exchanges so much! My studies always seem so wonderful on exchanges. I stayed in Amity and Sis. Bennett came here! I love Sister Bennett!!!!!! We got to know each other really well when we served in Bend together so it was really nice to see each other again. I was hoping we would get to be together. It was also really nice to spend the day taking over the area because it gave me more confidence in myself to teach. I was also able to help Sis. Bennett with what she has been struggling with :) I find it ironic that I was the one who ended up helping my Sister Training Leader. I'm really glad I had that opportunity though. OH! and I got to drive the 2017 Malibu so that was exciting haha.
There isn't much else to report about this week. We went to a space and aviation museum today so I'll be sending those pictures but there isn't much to say about that. I had fun :) Also, Preparation day for next week is on Thanksgiving so I'll be emailing on Thursday and not Monday.
I really love being a missionary!
